Talking about Mumbai, the organization of the fairs takes place mainly at two locations, multiple times a year &#8211; Shri Sunderbai Hall, Churchgate, and Fabiani\u2019s Art Gallery, Irla. I personally have been to the former location three times to find myself some great books to buy at very cheap prices, and I have not been disappointed yet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Also check out &#8211; <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/indycritic.com\/?p=1142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Bestseller Books, Kharghar \u2013 Review\" class=\"ek-link\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Bestseller Books<\/mark><\/a><\/em><\/strong> in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, who also organize their own book fairs in Mumbai and other cities throughout India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Books I bought at my latest visit<\/strong> (at the dates mentioned above) &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pre-owned\/used fiction books at \u20b9100\/- per kg [6 books weighing a total of 3 kg; that is \u20b950\/- per book!]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8216;Wise Man&#8217;s Fear&#8217; by Patrick Rothfuss [#2 of \u2018The Kingkiller Chronicles\u2019].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Condition &#8211; Like New; no complaints really!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Already had Book 1, so to find it here was an absolute delight! That too at approx. \u20b950\/- is crazy! Fantasy readers (bibliophiles in general) will get the excitement of it all!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;Wizard&#8217;s First Rule&#8217; by Terry Goodkind [#1 of the \u2018Sword of Truth\u2019 series].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Condition &#8211; Good; yellowed pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;The Darkness that Comes Before&#8217; by R. Plus, a Hardcover! That too wrapped in a plastic cover!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pre-owned\/used children\u2019s books at \u20b9300\/- per kg [3 books weighing a total of 0.4 kg; that is approx. \u20b942\/- per book!]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8216;The City of Ember&#8217; by Jeanne DuPrau [#1 of the \u2018Book of Ember\u2019 series].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Condition &#8211; Very Good; creased\/cracked spine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;The Hidden Stairs and the Magic Carpet&#8217; by Tony Abbott [#1 of \u2018The Secrets of Droon\u2019 series].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Condition &#8211; New! (I personally have a lot of nostalgia and fond memories attached to this series in particular, especially since #30 &#8211; &#8216;Escape from Jabar-Loo&#8217;, was the very first book\/novel that I read in my life! So, to find the first book that starts the epic journey of this series, I was more than happy!).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;Voyagers of the Silver Sands&#8217; by Tony Abbott [Special Edition #3 of \u2018The Secrets of Droon\u2019 series].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Condition &#8211; New! (Excitement through the roof with this one!).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What was really impressive?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Books were super cheap (thanks to the concept of buying in bulk\/by weight).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wide variety of books across numerous genres were available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collection of children&#8217;s books was pretty impressive, the likes present being &#8211; &#8216;Goosebumps&#8217;, &#8216;Magic Tree House&#8217;, etc. among others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collection of non-fiction\/coffee table books was pretty good too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Condition of many books was pretty good, with multiple books being &#8216;like new&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What could be better?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SFF (Sci-Fi Fantasy) books were very less in number (certainly need a little bit of luck here of finding them, as was in my case).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Same can be said with respect to the teen\/YA (Young Adult) genre as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Other info.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ONLY English language books are available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Books can only be bought\/purchased, and NOT be sold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purchased books can be strapped FREE of cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Also, there are cardboard boxes attached to a string so that you don&#8217;t have to carry the books in your hand. Instead, just put them all in the box, which can be pulled\/dragged along the ground to basically make life easier for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Final thoughts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Overall, I&#8217;m super happy with my experience as a whole. Was able to get my hands on some of the best and biggest names around&#8230; that too at such low rates is truly like a cherry on top of the cake! Will be definitely visiting again for sure.
